Seperating the art from the artist

I’m going to subvert your expectation for this piece by not leading with Kanye West.

“”“FURRY MUSICIANS”“”

Who is the best furry musician? Why are they all mid? Frankly, the actual question at hand is who gives a flying fuck?

In my opinion, making the decision you to lean into the “furry musician” label to me just means you want to pedal to a niche audience because the competition is scarce - and suddenly the bar for decent music is lower. No, it does not make your music any better in the grand scheme of things.

There are actually only 3 (three) good “”“FURRY MUSICIANS”“”:

  1. Car Seat Headrest
  2. xaev
  3. Renard

And I never cared about who or what they were. It might be a little rude to be ignorant to part of an artist’s identity, but I like to seperate the art from the artist. It obviously influences their art, but I like to listen to music, and not care about the individual. You can apply this to Kanye.

I said my peace. Goodbye. What useless information!
